We are very sorry to inform you that Peter died on Thursday 13th January after a short illness.

It came as a real shock since it was just two months ago that we opened his exhibition of photographs Off the Beaten Track. and on the 4th December he had even hiked to the top of Mount Howitt.

Peter's drawings, etchings or photographs have been included in our last 11 Christmas exhibitions and he regularly visited the gallery where his works were always on show in our general collection.

Peter was continually thinking of others.  We will miss the flowers he would bring from his Warburton garden and the cards he would send written in his incredibly beautiful handwriting. We will miss his support and help, his warmth and generosity, his singing and good humour. But, mostly, we will just miss him.
