Natalya Ziva  was born in Arkhangelsk in 1955
1968-74 Studied at the Leningrad Art School
1974-80  Studied at the Repin Academy under Prof. Oreshnikov
1980-85   Postgraduate Assistant in Oreshnikov's studio
1985   Elected to the Artist's Union
From 1976  onwards exhibited in Russia and Finland including in 1976 at Pushkin's estate, Russia
Married to the artist, Yuri Zenin

Natalya Ziva is a very good portrait painter and considers this her best ever self portrait
