Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery, 1987. Skinner Prout painted and sketched extensively around Tasmania between 1844-8, after moving his family to Van Diemen's Land from Sydney. He sketched several views of the capes around Port Arthur. In 1848, he returned to England.
