Lyndon Dadswell (1908-1986), was an important sculptor, teacher and war artist in WW2.  He taught at the East Sydney Technical College from 1937-1967. Frank Medworth was brought out from England to run the Drawing School at East Sydney Tech in 1939 until his untimely death in Mexico in 1947. He was acting Director of the AGNSW from 1944-45.  His Portrait of Lyndon Dadswell is in the collection of the Art Gallery of New South Wales
