"This painting represents all the bush tuckers we collect during the wet and the dry season in this country (Gooniyandi). We know when to go out, when the right time to get them and where to get them. We know how to live off the land. We can tell which tucker is good and which one is bad. We collect them from the high country right down to the rivers. When the first storm comes we know what is to be collected ‘cause the flowers shows us."
