Lucy Boyd

Born 1958

Lucy is the daughter of Arthur and Yvonne Boyd. Born in Beaumaris, Lucy moved to Highgate, London with her parents then returned to Australia in 1968. 
Lucy travelled extensively around Australia, before moving to Canberra, then spent several years in the spectacular landscape on the Shoalhaven River. She held her first solo exhibition of Landscape oil paintings in Colchester, Essex, UK in 1980. 
She made various paint trips to Europe, mainly Italy and France as well as Spain, Ireland and Scotland and other areas of Wales. Lucy also made several extended trips back to the Shoalhaven, living for one year at Culburra Beach, NSW. 
She spent several years in Melbourne painting around the bay.
