Glenda Fell Jones
Born 1944
These days "she has a studio at the head of the Araluen valley in NSW and enjoys many hours gazing at the shifting light as clouds form in an ultramarine sky, turning to vapour against the paler horizon. As the grey-greens of eucalypts change with the light, Glenda experiments with colour to find the elusive depth of a landscape she knows so well." refer Metropolis Gallery
She is a regular exhibitor and finalist in the Plein Air NSW Parliamentary Art Prize and various Portrait Prizes. In 1996 she held her first solo exhibition at the Switchback Gallery, Gippsland School of Art, Monash University and has continued to be a regular exhibitor of her landscapes and portraits in NSW and the ACT ever since.
