Educated at the Royal art academy in 1893. Pupil of L. Tuxen. Attended Kröyers art school in 1901. Magaard worked primarily in Denmark and did many cityscapes from Copenhagen and landscapes from Jutland. Magaard is known for his great details and had a great sense of capturing the true form of buildings. Has worked in Germany and Holland and have been exhibited in United Kingdom and Scandinavia.
