"Born Melbourne, 1936. Painter and graphic artist. Teacher of silkscreen printibng at East Sydney Technical College and at the North Shore art workshop. He had no formal training in art, but attended Melbourne University and the Australian Forestry School. Rose held one-man shows at the Argus Gallery, Melbourne in 1961 and the Barry Stein Gallery Sydney 1962. Won the Ryde prize, 1962; Wollongong prize, 1962 and is represented in State Galleries throughout Australia .
