Oil on panel Born in the Ukraine, Zaporozhets studied at the Art College in Kharkov between 1953-54 and between 1957-60. Between 1960-66 he studied at the Repin Institute, Leningrad. He was elected to the Artists Union in1970. He has held one man shows in Russia, the Ukraine and Germany. Zaporozhets is one of the most successful artists of his generation.
