“Barda is a medicine soap. The tree grows in the dry season. The leaves are big and the flowers are small and yellow and pom-pom shaped. When the seed pod is green we collect them and boil them and have a bath. When you rub the seed pod in your hand and mix some water it’s like washing your hands with soap.. It’s handy in the bush when you go hunting and your hands are dirty. We can
get some barda and wash your hands.”
