"This is the place where I grew up as a child. I used to go out with the older women to the billabongs. We used to go hunting for Kalkaji (goanna) and Jilpirtijarti (snake). We would use crabs as bait for catching fish like Parlka (barramundi) or catfish (parulu). From left are Pamini, Nurtuwarta, Yirrapalkarta and Wanyjal which is the billabong with the two jili (sandhill) on both sides. I went there with one lady looking for black headed pythons, we caught two and ate them at Wanyjal billabong. During the holiday season I would camp there with my parents and family and other people from the station."
