Abram Rabkin

Abram Isaakovich Rabkin was born in Bobruisk, Mogilev, Belorussia, 1925. He studied at the Leningrad Intermediate Art School between 1946-1949; at the Leningrad Higher Arts and Crafts College 1949-1951.
He is famous in Israel and certain parts of USA and Canada as both an artist and a chronicler of his Jewish childhood in Bobrusk, Belarus, where the population was wiped out. His book ends with the entry of the German Army.
He was active in Leningrad and specialized in subjects connected with Bobruisk.
