Born Moscow. Active Leningrad until 1959, Kubyshev thereafter. Began exhibiting 1935. Important shows include All-Union Art Exhibition, Moscow 1951 and 1955, Soviet Russia Moscow 1960. Taught at Leningrad Art College 1937-1939.
