“This country is called Old Kurungal. It has three soaks waterholes (jumu). My Grandmother (jaja, ngawuji) took us to have a picnic every weekend. We used to collect bush tucker, bush onions (jurnta), bush tomato (kumpupaja), bush berries (jakutakuta). Then we went to Barry Bore (Rarrakaji) to look for more bush onions (jurnta). We collected lots of them and we cooked them up and ate them”.
